For a free telephone assessment of the likelihood of you being able to successfully apply for a visa, call our Melbourne office and one of our Registered Migration Agents will speak with you.

Migration Assistance Australia acts for individuals and businesses both in Australia and overseas in all Australian immigration matters. We can either project manage your visa application or simply provide advice as and when you wish.

We aim to provide the best possible service to all of our clients, whether they are individuals, small business or large multinational corporations.

Our corporate clients range from multinational corporations with many thousands of staff world-wide and turnover measured in billions of dollars wanting to make intra-company transfers as painless as possible to small Australian enterprises seeking to bring in skilled staff from overseas.

Our personal clients receive exactly the same high standards of service as our major corporate clients and include Australian permanent residents wishing to bring relatives or prospective spouses to Australia, non-Australian citizens wanting to independently migrate to Australia, overseas students studying in Australia who wish to apply for residence and overseas citizens working in Australia on 457 visas who wish to apply for Permanent Residence.

If you, your spouse or any of your dependants, have any criminal convictions in the past then you will need a properly drafted submission to explain to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship why you, or your dependant, should not be classified as someone 'not of good character' which may lead to the entire family being refused the visa. This submission needs to be carefully crafted to take into account not only all current legislation but also Departmental policy at the date the visa application is lodged. At times such as these the legal training of our Principal, Les Mighalls, is extremely valuable to our clients.

If you, or any of your immediate family members, including those not migrating with you, have any medical issues then it is best to get these clarified at the start of the migration process because medical complications can, and do, lead to visa refusal. We are particularly well placed to be able to advise on these issues because of the professional background of Les Mighalls, who originally trained as a dental surgeon (and thus had to have a wide and detailed knowledge of various medical conditions) before completing his law degree. Les writes all of our submissions to the Department when the client needs to seek a Health Waiver in order for the visa application to be approved.

We have also provided advice, and successfully intervened with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, when clients have come to us with Australian citizenship application problems.

A particular speciality of Migration Assistance Australia is applying to the Migration Review Tribunal on behalf of clients who have tried to do their own application for a visa and have been rejected by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

By providing honest and forthright advice to our potential clients on the prospects of a successful application, and only taking on those clients who we think will succeed, all of our clients to date have been granted visas or won their Appeal.

To better assist our clients, we have several offices in Melbourne, both city and suburban.
